I'm losing children from my program because some families are being accepted into school-based centers that now serve infants. As enrollment declines, I'm also being forced to reduce my employees' hours just to cover my operating expenses. If more families on the child care assistance waitlist could access care, it would help fill open spots in my program, keep my business stable, and allow me to provide more consistent hours for my staff.
