Family Child Care, Rooted in Community
ECE on the Move is a collective of over 700 early childhood educators in residential settings in New York City. Founded in 2019 by Gladys Jones and Doris Irizarry, it emerged from more than 11 years of grassroots organizing to foster mutual support and advocacy, giving new value to home-based child care.
