Berta Sánchez, Director of My Kiko’s Group Family Daycare
Since 2009, I have provided families in our community with a high-quality early care and education program. Throughout these more than 17 years, I have been committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child can learn, grow, and reach their full potential.
We currently care for 12 children, ranging in age from 6 weeks to 12 years. Our program includes infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children, with learning experiences tailored to each stage of development.
I am part of the ECE on the Move network of family child care providers, where I participate in professional development and leadership initiatives. I am a strong advocate for strengthening family child care, promoting its quality, visibility, and recognition within the community.
To maintain a full enrollment and continue growing, we focus on providing an excellent education based on the Creative Curriculum, maintaining close communication with families, sharing daily progress through digital platforms, and continuously training ourselves to meet their needs. We believe that the best recommendation comes from the families who trust us and value the positive impact we have on their children. More than just a child care service, My Kiko’s Group Family Daycare is a second family for our children. Every day, we work with dedication and commitment to help build a better future for our community.
ECE on the Move members are dynamic, motivated early childhood educators in residential settings who are doing impactful work in the field. Do you know an educator we should spotlight? Nominate them using this form.
